Find someone worth meeting
A few useful recommendations, with real reasons you might get along.
A private student community
Meet Illinois State students you might actually get along with, find something to do, and make the first conversation a little less awkward.
The problem
You pass hundreds of people every day. Some of them probably like the same games, sports, music, hobbies, and random stuff you do. There just is not a normal reason to start talking.
309 creates that reason.
How it works
A few useful recommendations, with real reasons you might get along.
Food, a game, the gym, studying, or whatever sounds good right now.
Join a small group, meet somewhere public, and see whether it clicks.
Why I built this
Being surrounded by thousands of people does not automatically make meeting them easy. You walk past people every day who you might have a ridiculous amount in common with, but there is no normal way to walk up and ask if they want to be friends.
This is not supposed to become another app you scroll for three hours. If it works, you find somebody or something worth doing, meet people, and get off your phone.
What it is not
Every account requires control of an @ilstu.edu mailbox. Email verification is available now; the rest of the product stays closed until its safety foundation is ready.
